Sabres vs. Ducks
The Buffalo Sabres will finally end this long road trip tonight in Anaheim. They have gone 3-2 over this trip which is pretty respectable. Buffalo was one of the better teams in the league in the month of January winning 9 of its 13 games which was second only to New Jersey. Ryan Miller is 9-3 in his last 12 starts with a 2.30 GAA and a .932 save percentage. Buffalo lost its last meeting with the Ducks by a score of 4-1. The Ducks have a mediocre home record this season going 13-11-3 while playing the host. They sit in 5th place in the Western Conference with 55 points through 52 games but I think that they are going to drop a significant amount in the next week as a few teams have 3 or more games in hand on them. Buffalo will need Tim Connolly to continue his superb play as of late and at the same time stop Anaheim’s Bobby Ryan who is on a 7 game point streak in which he has scored 5 goals and 3 assists. The face off is set for 10pm tonight.
