Sabres Defeat Maple(slaps)
The Sabres got a big win last night to keep pace with the likes of Montreal, NY Rangers and Florida. Every point is huge this time of year and it was good to see Buffalo play a solid game of hockey. Stafford is really turning into something else this year as he scored twice last night. His play has improved greatly and it’s clear he is going to be a top notch player in this league for many years to come. Tim Connolly continued his point per game pace by getting 2 assists last night en route to the Sabres 4-1 victory. Ryan Miller got his 28th win of the season in a 27 save effort. Daniel Paille and Matt Ellis recorded goals for Buffalo for the first time in several games. The Sabres next game will be against Philadelphia tomorrow night.
